Shadow of the Tomb Raider brings Lara Croft back for yet another adventure —an even darker and more dangerous one than ever before. Taking place two months after Rise of the Tomb Raider, the new entry involves Lara traveling to Mesoamerica and South America, in order to discover the legendary city of Paititi. Unfortunately, during her expedition Lara inadvertently unleashes an apocalypse on the world, and has to rush to stop it. Of course, like with any big new game, you’ll be wondering just how much it costs and what kind of special editions there might be.

Like most games these days, the base version of Shadow of the Tomb Raider will cost you $59.99, on whichever system you choose. There’s also a special edition of the game called the “Croft Steelbook Edition,” which will set you back $89.99. Here’s what it includes.

  • Season Pass, featuring 7 Challenge Tombs, each with new narrative side missions. The Season Pass also delivers 7 Weapons, 7 Outfits, and 7 Skills.
  • 3 additional Weapons and Outfits
  • Original Shadow of the Tomb Raider Soundtrack

Finally, there’s also an Ultimate Collector’s Edition for Shadow of the Tomb Raider available through the Square Enix online store that costs $199.99. This huge package includes the Croft Steelbook edition, a “Terrifying Tombs” statue of Lara, a replica flashlight, climbing axe bottle opener, and 48 hours early access. Unfortunately, the Ultimate Collector’s Edition is currently on a waitlist if you’re looking to pick it up, so you might be better off going with one of the cheaper versions of the game.

Either way you choose to go, Lara’s latest adventure is sure to be an action-packed one, with stakes higher than ever before.

That’s all you need to know about the cost of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. For even more on Lara Croft’s latest adventure, make sure to search Twinfinite or check out our wiki guide.
