Valkyria Chronicles 4: How to Replenish Ammo

How to Replenish Ammo in Valkyria Chronicles 4

Recommended Videos

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a return to form for the series, bringing back the classic tactical gameplay after the more action-oriented spinoff, Valkyria Revolution, last year. The new game follows a young Federation commander named Claud Wallace and his elite squad, Squad-E, as they spearhead Operation Northern Cross, a last-ditch effort to capture the Imperial capital. A number of new additions and changes come to the game’s battle system, like the new Grenadier class and the ability to call in artillery. Battles in Valkyria Chronicles 4 can be massive and hectic, with multiple avenues and tactics you need to keep track of. Of course, limited ammo for certain classes can definitely become an issue, so you’ll want to know how to replenish ammo. Luckily, it works pretty much the same as past games, but if you haven’t played Valkyria Chronicles before, we’ll tell you how to replenish ammo here.

To start off with, the more advanced classes in Valkyria Chronicles 4, like Sniper and the new Grenadier, have limited ammo, as well as vehicles like the Hafen. Each turn, all of your units will recover one ammo, unless they’re in a base, in which case they’ll recover more. Outside of this, the only other way to replenish ammo in Valkyria Chronicles 4 is by using the Engineer class, who can give ammo to any unit they run across. In order to do this, simply select an Engineer and move them. As you’re moving, run right up into the unit you want to give more ammo to, and you should hear a little restocking sound play. That’s literally all you need to do, and there’s no limit to how many characters you can replenish ammo for during a turn.

That’s all you need to know about how to replenish ammo in Valkyria Chronicles 4. For more tips and guides on the game, make sure to search Twinfinite, or take a look at our ever-growing wiki guide.
