CD Projekt Red have been working on Cyberpunk 2077 for years now, but they never gave the public a glimpse of the gameplay until this glorious day. And we didn’t just get a glimpse βthe company walked us through 48 sweet minutes of the new open-world FPS. The gameplay shown was the same gameplay that was shown off to the press at E3 and Gamescom, and now the rest of the world finally got a chance to see what the press have been raving about.
The company crammed so much information about Cyberpunk 2077 into this 48-minute gameplay demo, and it was an act of both show and tell. They showed off different action scenes and moments of exploration while the narrator told us everything that was going on in great detail. CD Projekt Red are thrilled to finally reveal gameplay to the public, and it seems that they wanted to answer as many questions as possible in this demo.
Of course, the Twitter verdict is in: it’s an overwhelmingly positive consensus. Some people still feel a little apprehensive about Cyberpunk 2077 being in first-person rather than third-person like their previous series The Witcher, but besides that, people are loving what they’ve seen. Take a look at just a few of the reactions down below.

Cyberpunk 2077 is kind of what I've wanted from a new F-Zero game. Not the gameplay obviously, but the world and design

I pretty much lost all interest in #Cyberpunk2077 when it turned out to be first person.
"Maximizing the immersion" is BS: there are many, many immersive games that are third person.
Besides, why the heck I'd spend time customizing my character's appearance if I CAN'T SEE HER?— Joanna MaciejewskaβSnakebitten is on preorder now! (@AuthorJMac) August 27, 2018
