Can You Get Mods in Madden 19
Madden 19, the latest and greatest from EA Tiburon and EA Sports, returns once again this year and brings a host of new improvements and game mode changes. Changes such as Real-Player Motion and Enhanced Control for ball carriers, aim to heighten the realism and authenticity. Meanwhile the three main game modes: Franchise, MUT, Longshot, each got tweaks, and in the case of the latter, a brand new story line to play through.
The biggest change of all, however, is the addition of a brand new platform. For the first time in many years, Madden has returned to PC. Although most football fans have resigned themselves to playing on a console if they want to play a football video game, there are plenty of stranded PC gamers that like football too, who can finally play Madden 19 on their preferred platform.
Naturally then, many fans are wondering whether Madden 19 on PC will utilize of one of the biggest advantages the PC platform has to offer: mods.
First, let’s address consoles just in case you’re here wondering about that. No, Madden 19 will not support mods on consoles. It’s unfortunate, but not at all surprising since very few games on console have mod support, and Madden would probably be pretty far down the list.
Second, let’s talk about PC mod support. Officially, there isn’t support for mods on Madden 19. It’s on EA Origin, so there’s no steam workshop support, and it isn’t something that EA has prioritized for this edition of Madden. Perhaps that will change now that they have a year under their belt with it. That said, it’s possible that unofficial mod support could spring up from the community un-policed by EA. While right now we’re not aware of any, that could be possible in the future.
That does it for whether or not you can get mods in Madden 19. For more FAQs answered, check out our Madden 19 Wiki Guide.
