Madden 19: How to Celebrate

How to Celebrate in Madden 19

Recommended Videos

A new feature added to Madden 19 is the ability to control the celebration that you want to perform after making a big play. In the past, the real-life NFL was quite strict about celebrating and it even earned the nickname, the “No Fun League.” However, over the last couple of years, the NFL has been softening its stance on the idea that players can celebrate at least a little bit. Sure, we probably won’t have the day of Terrell Owens grabbing popcorn and doing snow angels on the Cowboys start back anytime soon, but some coordinated end zone dances after a touchdown never hurt anyone. So thankfully, celebrations are back, and in full force this season both in-game and real life.

To celebrate in Madden 19, you to press one of a number of different options after getting a touchdown, sack or a safety. Everything is done using the right stick. To do a team celebration in Madden 19, press the RS up and your player will celebrate with their team. To spike the ball, press the stick right. Player-specific signature celebrations are done by pressing the RS down. Dancing is pressing the right stick lift and clicking in the RS will allow you to steal someone’s celebration from the opposite team.

Madden 19 put a strange amount of effort into studying all of the most popular team and user celebrations, and then did their best to accurately recreate them in-game. Now if you want to rub your opponent’s face in your success, you’ll have more freedom than ever before to do just that. The Pittsburgh Steelers were the kings of celebrations last year if you’re looking for a team that would carry the highest celebration rating. Now, go celebrate your heart out.

That does it for how to celebrate, both team and user, in Madden 19 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our comprehensive wiki.
