Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! have been showcased in a brand-new trailer with plenty of new information about what both games will feature when they debut on the Switch. It’s a world rife with cuteness and innocence, as the trailer shows off the 3D-rendered version of Kanto, as trainers bond with their Eevee and Pikachu, and other Pokemon friends.

The kid-friendly look to the game makes it even cuter when you factor in riding on Pokemon, exploring the countryside, and even meeting up with gym leaders Brock and Misty. With full co-op play and a “friendly rival” that changes up the way we think of and look at rivals in the world of Pokemon so far, it looks like it’s going to be an interesting twist on the classic Pokemon formula.

The trailer also shows off that you can customize your Pokemon partners, like we already knew, but we didn’t know you could customize the Pokemon’s hairstyles, which is hilarious and amazing at the same time. Sure, you can give your Eevee a bowl cut if you really want to. No one’s stopping you.

This is one of the most detailed looks we’ve gotten at the upcoming Pokemon reboots so far, and it looks absolutely excellent. Feast your eyes on the new trailer below, but try not to let the wait for the upcoming games get to you. It’s still going to be a while before we can get our hands on the adorable new journeys into the Pokemon world.
