Octopath Traveler is the latest exclusive making its way over to the Nintendo Switch. The game will guide players through the stories of eight unique protagonists, each with their own dreams, abilities, and origin stories. It’ll be down to you to choose the one that resonates with you the most, and guide them on the adventure, with the other characters’ stories overlapping along the way. Its stunning blend of 2D sprite visuals and turn-based combat harks back to the golden days of the JRPG, and its soundtrack is one that only heightens all of the action. To celebrate the release of Square Enix’s latest RPG title, a Traveler’s Compendium Edition will also release for Octopath Traveler, packing in a number of neat bits of physical content to add to your collection.

Chances are, then, that if you’re here, you’re wondering what’s in the Octopath Traveler: Traveler’s Compendium Edition. Alongside a standard copy of the game you’ll also get the following:

  • Double-sided World Map of Orsterra
  • Replica of a Leaf Coin – The Currency of Orsterra
  • Sound Selections CD (Only in the Wayfarer’s Edition in the US)
  • 8-Page Pop-Up Book with Item Compartments

The coolest inclusion, if you ask us, has to be the pop-up book with item compartments. The stunning visual style of the game has been used to illustrate the book, making it a great little collector’s item.

If you’re interested in getting the Traveler’s Compendium Edition (Wayfarer’s Edition), it’ll set you back $99.99. Amazon still have some in-stock both for US and UK readers, if you’ve yet to secure your own copy.
