Will Cyberpunk 2077 Have Co-Op Multiplayer? What You Need to Know
Cyberpunk 2077 is likely to adopt the same foundation that we saw with The Witcher 3. An enormous open-world with engaging RPG mechanics, and a plethora of quests and errands to complete as we level up and explore. While CD Projekt Red’s worlds are often stuffed with content and are a joy to explore on your own, some may be wondering if Cyberpunk 2077 will have a co-op multiplayer feature.
At this moment in time, CD Projekt Red has revealed that there will be no co-op multiplayer when Cyberpunk 2077 initially launches. Though this is sure to come as disappointing news for anyone wanting to explore the game’s futuristic world with friends, the developer did reveal that “We have multiplayer in R&D, but the game we’re shipping to you, the game you’re going to buy is the single-player experience.” Though, it’s worth noting that when pushed to confirm whether or not co-op multiplayer was coming post-launch, quest designer Patrick Mills replied “Maybe, no promises.”
