Earlier tonight, Bethesda released more details about Fallout: 76, their upcoming Fallout prequel title. The game one of their largest, four times larger than Fallout 4, which was the largest Fallout map since Bethesda took over the series with Fallout 3. On top of that, the game takes place several years before all others, so much so that it will undoubtedly showcase a number of new characters within its mountainous West Virginia setting. The game is claimed to have sixteen times the detail of Fallout 4, allowing people to see things such as distant weather systems from very far away.
Fallout: 76 follows a survivor from Vault 76, one of the 17 Vaults that was designed as a control vault, without any horrific experiments taking place.
Fallout: 76 also a new showcase of footage from the beginning of the game, where you leave the Vault to go back into the Wasteland after waiting for 25 years.

The game is split into six unique regions, and also shows off several cryptid-inspired mutant monsters. These included giant toads, flying bat monsters, and even giant sloths. The game is entirely online.
Fallout: 76 has a similar settlement building aspect to Fallout 4, but it has been altered to be mobile. Using the C.A.M.P system, you can craft a settlement anywhere, and move it where ever you want. Despite this, camps could still be attacked by horrific monsters or savage raiders.
Unlike other games, Fallout: 76 also has a camera mode, where you can pose with your friends in your settlements, or over the corpses of your greatest enemies.
The game also has several nuclear weapons, which can be taken over by players and used against their enemies. It is currently unknown how these will work, and if they alter the world in any significant way.
Fallout: 76 is the eighth installment in the Fallout franchise, which was picked up by Bethesda after having already released four games, which included two main games, and two spin off titles. Fallout 3 released in 2008, and was a new direction for the franchise, moving from a isometric roleplaying game into a first person roleplaying game, but was adored by fans all the same.

The game was revealed on May 30, 2018, after a long live stream that left many fans thinking the announcement was going to be Fallout 3 Remastered due to the upcoming tenth anniversary. Fans were then surprised at the announcement of an entirely new title, with a then undisclosed release date.
There is an upcoming Beta for Fallout: 76, as well as a collector’s edition.
The Collector’s Edition includes a large map, which glows in the dark. The map comes with a set of figures you can place all over the map, and your own personal T-51 Power Armor.
The game will be releasing Nov. 14, 2018, but no date has been announced for the upcoming Beta.
