The expansion contains the Russian army, six maps, 11 additional weapons, new operations, and more. In the Name of the Tsar can be downloaded from the following digital storefronts – Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Origin on PC – and does not require owning the base game to claim. Publisher Electronic Arts has not announced how long the free offer will last, but the Microsoft Store lists the DLC as free for the next seven days.

Battlefield 4 players can also nab the Final Stand DLC, the game’s fifth expansion, for free for a limited time. The DLC can be download on all platforms – Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Origin on PC – and contains four maps, two weapons, and more. Earlier this month, EA did a similar promotion by offering Battlefield 1’s They Shall Not Pass expansion and Battlefield 4’s Dragon’s Teeth DLC as free downloads for two weeks.

In other franchise news, EA released a short teaser for the recently announced Battlefield V. The teaser does not reveal much, though the game might take place during World War II according to the British and German Iron Cross icons seen in the short preview. EA will announce more details for the game in a livestream on May 23 at 4 p.m. ET.
