We’re nearing the end of Stage 3 in the Overwatch League, and the playoffs are in sight yet again. There’s been a huge shakeup at the top of the leaderboards, and we’re starting to see more parity between the teams as more and more competitors are starting to catch up with the Korean players.
This is the final week of Stage 3, and the Stage playoffs will be taking place on Sunday once the regular matches are over. Right now, Boston, New York, and the two LA teams are currently in playoffs contention, but Houston and Philly still have a chance of making it in if they play their cards right. The Fusion should be able to secure a win against the Fuel this week, and if they can beat the Valiant (and the other teams drop the ball a little), they can sneak into the Stage playoffs.
Similarly, the Gladiators could also potentially slip out of the playoffs if they’re unable to close out their wins against Boston (looking unlikely at the moment) and Florida.
We’ll be updating this post with the map results for each match-up, along with the team standings, as the week goes on, so be sure to check back for more up-to-date information.
