Call of Duty: WWII players can now use their Amazon Alexa devices to get feedback about in-game performance, track progress, and get personalized tips for being a better player.

While this may seem like a super late April Fool’s Day joke (perhaps because this basically was Runescape developer Jagex’s April Fool’s Day joke this year), it’s actually real.

Some of the suggestions Alexa may make after analyzing your Call of Duty performance may relate to specific strategies, loadouts, or more. The more you play, the better the recommendations will be, Activision promises.

Progress on active orders and contracts can be tracked using Alexa, as can players’ kill/death ratio, winning percentage, and even how many objective points they’ve taken. Alexa can even be used to see which of your friends are online playing the game without having to turn on your console.

To use Alexa’s Call of Duty features, Alexa owners will have to enable the feature online (look for “Call of Duty” in the “Skills” tab), then connect their Call of Duty: WWII account to their Amazon account. The feature is still in beta and Alexa will only track your stats on one platform, so if you play on a console and PC, or multiple consoles, you’ll have to unlink your secondary system from your Call of Duty account.
