Originally aired at the Kingdom Hearts Union Dandelion meeting that just took place this past week, we got a glimpse at some of the mini-games that will be available to play in Kingdom Hearts III. You can check out the brief trailer down below.
The trailer shows off Sora, Donald, and Goofy looking down at a gaming device as they try their hand at some black-and-white classic, Disney-themed mini-games. There are platforming and shooting mini-games among others, and they also feature iconic Disney characters.
Perhaps more importantly, though, it’s worth noting that Sora and friends were shown talking to Hayner, Olette, and Pence in what looks like it Twilight Town when obtaining the device. These characters were Roxas’ friends back in Kingdom Hearts II, and we haven’t really seen or heard much about them since that game. They could very well have an important role to play in the latest entry.
Kingdom Hearts III is set to be released for the PS4 and Xbox One some time this year.
