Can You Play Far Cry 5 in Third Person?
The Far Cry series is back, and this time the action has a more local flavor. Instead of the exotic island and mountain settings of previous games, you’ll be traversing the Big Sky Country of Montana, USA. Don’t worry though, all the outpost infiltration, oodles of side quests, and the general chaos of its off-the-wall open world is very much still the same beloved formula of previous games. And even if you haven’t played a Far Cry game before, you might recognize many of its gameplay systems from other Ubisoft games, such as Assassin’s Creed Origins. Except in Far Cry 5, just as has been the case for every Far Cry title, the action is strictly played from a first person perspective.
That’s right, if you were hoping to play Far Cry 5 in third person, we’re sorry to tell you that isn’t an available option. What we can assure you of, however, is that the gunplay and stealth are absolutely top-notch, so even if you don’t typically like playing in first person, you might find this a different story. Besides, you’ll be able to get up close and personal with those evil cultists as you slay your way to the top of its ranks.
That’s all the information we have on whether you can play Far Cry 5 in third person. For more information and guides on the game, check out our Far Cry 5 wiki.
