LiNkzr – HOUSTON OUTLAWS – WIDOWMAKER
LiNkzr for Houston Outlaws was a powerhouse player on Widowmaker this week in the Overwatch League against the Shanghai Dragons and Seoul Dynasty on Thursday. He was able to get player of the day on alongside DreamKazper from Boston Uprising with praise for his sniping skills being a huge reason why Dynasty wasn’t able to make the playoffs at the end of stage two.

While against Seoul Dynasty, he had 34 final blows with the majority at 24 being headshots as Widow. Overall he had over 22,000 damage on the hero with a whopping 20.31% critical accuracy, meaning over a fifth of the time he shot her gun he was landing a critical headshot.

In the clips above and below we can see some examples of his excellent tracking skills. He is extremely good at anticipating enemies arriving from blindspots and finishing off weaker enemies at close range with pin-point accuracy.

We also got to see some great Zarya plays when he pulled her out at the end of the Outlaws defense on King’s Row, as he takes out enemy after enemy with perfect tracking while fully charged to hold the point.
😮😮😮 A fully charged @LiNkzrOW Zarya! #OWL2018

LiNkzr’s critical hit accuracy on Widowmaker is hard to match, as Fleta who is considered to be one of, if not the best Widow player in the league was able to get just over 16% on Friday’s match against Florida Mayhem. If he continues holding these impressive numbers then he might just dethrone Fleta as the most respected Widowmaker player in the league.
CARPE – PHILADELPHIA FUSION – TRACER
Philadelphia Fusion really came for it this last week to land at third place overall in the standings and second in the stage two title matches losing only to New York Excelsior, and Carpe’s proficiency on Tracer was likely a huge factor in them climbing the ranks.
When Fusion went up against London Spitfire for the first of the stage two title matches at the end of the week, Carpe went off with massive amounts of chip damage as he not only landed his pulse bomb continuously but disrupted the enemy lines without sacrificing his own life at any point.

In another ‘cheeky’ play below Carpe sticks Gesture as Winston yet again after he’d been slept by Neptuno as Ana.

Carpe isn’t just a one-trick pony either with his skills as Tracer, as down below we can see him take out three finishing blows as Widowmaker with two of them being headshots, while also taking out the enemy Rip-Tire like it was nothing.
If you're not watching the Stage 2 Playoffs you are MISSING OUT.@carpe_ow is playing like he has a grudge. #OWL2018

Also considered to be one of the ‘sneakiest Hanzos’ in the league, Carpe proved he can flank with pretty much any hero as he sneaks up on Birdring on his way back to the point on King’s Row, killing him with an easy scatter arrow while also quickly taking out Bdosin as Zenyatta before joining his team again.
It's @carpe_ow, he can flank with ANY HERO. #OWL2018

With his variety of heroes combined with his specialty as Tracer, Carpe has proved himself to be a vital member of the Philadelphia Fusion team and a core player attributed for the success they have found in these last few weeks.
STRIKER – BOSTON UPRISING – TRACER
Another noteworthy Tracer player, Striker for Boston Uprising was a standout this week both in the game against San Francisco Shock on Friday and against Los Angeles Gladiators on Saturday.

While against the Gladiators, he has some huge stats including over 55,000 damage done as Tracer with 138 eliminations against only 32 deaths. On top of that, out of those 138 eliminations, almost 50% of them at 68 were final blows, meaning Striker is very good at following up with retreating, weaker enemies and finishing them off to stagger them from the rest of the team.

Perhaps his most impressive stats from the match against Los Angeles Gladiators is his 45% pulse bomb attachment rate, with 14 pulse bomb kills throughout the match overall.

While there are a lot of impressive Tracer players in the Overwatch League with her being such a valuable player right now, Striker continues to be one of the best and might just help Boston Uprising rise out of sixth place as we continue into stage three.
POKO – PHILADELPHIA FUSION – D.Va
Making our list for the first time, Philadelphia Fusion tank player Poko had some amazing stats as D.Va during the Friday match against Los Angeles Valiant. Some of those massive numbers include over 44,000 damage done as D.Va, 103 eliminations, and only 23 deaths.
Of those eliminations, 46 were final blows and 22 of those were final blows on opposing tanks, meaning if Poko is going head-to-head with an enemy tank player he is often the only one coming out with his life.
He is so known on D.Va in the Overwatch League that his ult with her now has its own nickname, ‘The Poko Bomb.’ Rightly so as he has had more kills with it than another other D.Va player in the league at certain points of both stage one and two.

While his skills as D.Va were on point, he also had some great plays as Zarya like down below on King’s Row with a perfect grav to net Fusion a quintuple kill to hold the payload.
It's not a pokobomb, but it IS a POKOGRAV! @poko #OWL2018

With Philadelphia Fusion currently resting at third place in the official Overwatch League standings, players like Poko and the aforementioned Carpe are putting in work to ensure there team has a shot at coming out on top.
FLETA – SEOUL DYNASTY – WIDOWMAKER
While LiNkzr also made out list this week for his phenomenal plays as Widow, Fleta will also be a standout in stage two week five of the Overwatch League due to his great player performance as the character, specifically in the Friday match where Seoul Dynasty beat Florida Mayhem 3-1.

Both while attacking and defending point A on assault map Volskaya Industries, Fleta got pick after pick taking out squishy characters with critical hits at a rapid pace. Later on Route 66 as the hero he got almost 10,000 damage done with 21 eliminations and 16.1% critical accuracy.
Now this is just RUTHLESS. @ow_fleta #OWL2018

As Seoul Dynasty battles to once again get at the top of the Overwatch League standings, Felta has proven himself to be one of the most dependable and consistent players on the team. Expect more great plays from him on his signature hero Widowmaker as we go into the first week of stage three in April.
