How to Make Money Fast in Kingdom Come Deliverance
Money can be incredibly hard to come by in Kingdom Come Deliverance, and especially during the opening few hours of the game, it can cause you some real problems when trying to advance in the main story. To give you a helping hand and help you fill your pockets, here are a bunch of ways to help you make money fast in Kingdom Come Deliverance.
Sell Your Stolen Items
How to Make Money Fast in Kingdom Come Deliverance
As you play through Kingdom Come Deliverance, you’ll find your inventory gets filled with stolen items, be it intentional on your part or not. Regardless, stolen items can actually fetch you some fairly good money. Problem is, you can’t just sell them to anyone. To sell your stolen items and get a fair chunk of money, you’ll want to complete ‘The Good Thief‘ side quest as soon as you wake up in Rattay. It’ll guide you through the lockpicking mechanic in the game, too, so it’s definitely worth checking out.
Complete the quest and Peshek will be more than happy to take care of those stolen items you’ve got. He’ll pay you a real pretty penny, too, so this should absolutely be your first stop once you’re awake in Rattay and ready to take on the rest of Kingdom Come Deliverance.
Captain Bernard’s Bandit Bounties

Captain Bernard is another NPC you’ll want to visit when you’ve woken up and got your bearings in Rattay. You’ll find him over by the combat yard and by speaking to him you’ll be offered bandit bounties. Accept these small side quests which task you with killing marked bandits and you’ll be rewarded with a fairly healthy dose of money for your troubles. These bandit bounties can be pretty challenging combat scenarios, though, so make sure you’re well-acquainted with the combat mechanics in Kingdom Come Deliverance before you go diving in. Or, at the very least, make sure you’re stocked up on Saviour Schnapps just in case things go awry.
General Inventory Clearouts

If the stolen goods just aren’t bringing in enough extra money for you in Kingdom Come Deliverance, take a look through your inventory and make sure you’re not carrying around a bunch of gear or other items that you simply don’t need anymore. Traders are more than willing to take your unused and unwanted items off you, so make the most of them. It’s not always going to net you a huge amount of money, but every little helps, right?
Go Ear Collecting!

We know, that sounds weird, but it’s a really great way to make money quickly in Kingdom Come Deliverance. Once you reach Talmberg, look out for Sir Robard. If you’ve managed to kill any of the yellow-cloaked Cuman warriors or bandits, you’ll be able to harvest their ears if you have a dagger. You can get daggers from most of the arms dealers in Kingdom Come Deliverance, so damn the expense and splash out.
Once you’ve got a fair few of the ears collected together, you can then head back over to Sir Robard and get a good chunk of money from him for them. Bandit ears will need to go to Captain Bernard, which makes sense if you’ve been tackling his bandit bounties, anyway.
Murder Wandering Wayfarers… and Bandits

We’re not about the dark and murderous lifestyle, but we understand that when push comes to shove in Kingdom Come Deliverance, you gotta do what you gotta do. As you travel from locale to locale on Kingdom Come Deliverance’s map, you’ll likely see the occasional person traveling on their own. As long as nobody else is around, and you feel competent enough with the combat mechanics to succeed, go ahead and murder them. Stealth attacks tend to work best just to avoid direct conflict from the off, but you’ll be compensated with a small sum of money for your troubles.
Bandits are more fair game, considering they’re basically up to no good all the time. Go wandering out of a town and into the wilderness in Kingdom Come Deliverance and hopefully, you’ll stumble upon a group of bandits. Heading northwest or northeast out of Rattay will see you likely run into bandits, but, as we mentioned above, make sure you’re at least semi-competent with the combat before jumping into battle. Once they’re all slain, harvest those ears and relieve them of their gear and items.
Cook and Sell Meat

Another pretty great way we’ve found to make money quickly in Kingdom Come Deliverance is to go off into the wilderness and get hunting those animals. Take care of them and loot the meat that they all drop and then go ahead and cook it. Take it to a vendor, and you’ll now be able to sell it for considerably more than it would normally be worth.
For example, you can get about 40 Roe Deer meat for hunting one, usually worth 0.4 Groschen each. Cooking the Roe Deer meat will increase it to over 20 Groschen each. Further, if you’ve got a bunch of meat with the ‘Stolen’ buff, cooking usually removes this in our experience, though not always. Regardless, you can always sell your stolen cooked meats to the Miller, too.
