Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition is coming to mobile devices next month, so if you love the game so much that it hurts to be away from your favorite characters, starting Feb. 9 you can take them wherever you go. It’s coming to both iOS and Android with a cartoony art style, adorable chili characters, and mobile-centric gameplay.
There are 10 chapters all available on launch day, and you’ll get the first one for free. If you want to play the rest, you’ll have to buy them all as you go from the App Store or Google Play to see how things play out. It follows the same storyline and features the same characters for a similar experience to the regular game, but it’ll focus more on isometric play and touch controls.
Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition looks like a ton of fun, especially for mobile gamers or those who haven’t had a chance to check out the full thing. Make sure you do eventually play Final Fantasy XV, however, if you haven’t. There’s so much to see and do that it’ll make your head spin. Plus, that’s just how Noctis would want it.
