Call of Duty: WWII was released earlier this month and went straight to the top of the UK game charts. It has since remained there for the past three weeks and this week marks its reign at the top for a month straight. The popular shooter has faced fierce competition from the likes of Star Wars Battlefront II and FIFA 18 but none of these have been able to take Call of Duty’s place.
FIFA 18 is in second place whilst Gran Turismo: Sport is in third. The controversial Star Wars Battlefront II is in fourth and Assassin’s Creed: Origins brings up the rear in fifth. The top 20 are as follows:
- Call of Duty: WWII
- FIFA 18
- Grand Turismo: Sport
- Star Wars Battlefront II
- Assassin’s Creed: Origins
- Forza Motorsport 7
- Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Fallout 4
- Need for Speed Payback
- PlayStation VR Worlds
- Forza Horizon 3
- WWE 2K18
- Knowledge is Power
- Hidden Agenda
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Destiny 2
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Doom
This coming week doesn’t see the release of any hotly anticipated games so it will be interesting to see if Call of Duty is able to remain on top for a fifth week running.
