The Advance Wars-inspired indie game, Tiny Metal, will release on November 21 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The title is being published by Unties, a new game publishing label set up under Sony Music Entertainment. In addition to Tiny Metal, Unties will also be publishing three other indie games; Last Standard, Merkava Avalanche, and Deemo Reborn.
Tiny Metal is going to seem quite familiar to anyone that’s a fan of the Advance Wars series. You’ll command different units like soldiers, tanks, and helicopters, across the battlefield to take territory. It’s an isometric strategy game that takes place on a battle map, with battles zooming into animated sequences, like Advance Wars. Here’s a description of the game from its official site, and you can take a look at the most recent trailer down below.
“It’s war!, In Tiny Metal the revival of Japanese Arcade Wargaming.
Outfight the enemy with your own army of foot soldiers, tanks, helicopters, tactical vehicles, and fighter jets. Capture rival territories and extend your military power over the sprawling map of Zipang. Follow the gripping story of Nathan Gries and answer for yourself what is, and what isn’t, worth fighting for.”
Tiny Metal will launch on November 21 for PS4, Switch, and PC.
