The Xbox One X, formally known as Project Scorpio, was officially unveiled by Microsoft earlier this year at E3 and it promises to be the most powerful console on the market, eclipsing even the PlayStation 4 Pro. The power of the Xbox One X will allow it to runs games at native 4K resolution, render games at a 3,840 x 2,160, and play them at 60fps. It will also feature a 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray player, something not found on any other consoles.
If you’re eager to get your hands on an Xbox One X then you’ll be pleased to know that Microsoft’s Larry Hyrb, AKA Major Nelson, has announced on his official website that the Xbox One X standard edition is now available to pre-order.
Last month, the Xbox One X Project Scorpio was made available to pre-order and this limited edition version quickly sold out. If you weren’t able to get your hands on one, or simply didn’t want to pay extra for extra cosmetic details, then now’s your chance to get the standard Xbox One X.
Pre-orders for the console are now available at Microsoft, Amazon, GameStop, and BestBuy. The console is set to be released on November 7 so you’ll want to buy now if you want one in time for the Holidays.
