Is Destiny 2 PS4 Pro Compatible?
Destiny 2 is finally among us and players around the world will begin their adventure anew. While your physical Guardian character will carry over, all of their stuff is gone and players will have to start from scratch with their gear as they embark on this new journey. PlayStation 4 has been the preferred platform for Bungie in terms of exclusive content, and since the original Destiny released, the PS4 Pro launched and offers higher resolution gaming. So naturally, many players that switched to the Pro are probably wondering whether or not the newest Destiny 2 would take advantage of that power. The answer is yes and no.
Destiny 2 is PS4 Pro compatible but won’t deliver the same power as the PC version. It will support high resolution 4K gameplay, but not the 60 FPS rate that the PC version is capable of putting out. So yes, you’re going to get something out of your PS4 Pro while playing, but just don’t expect it to look as nice as the PC version of the game when it releases in October.
