Destiny 2: Can You Change Your Hair?

Don't choose something you'll regret.

Changing Your Hair in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

At the beginning of Destiny 2, you’ll be able to customize your very own Guardian. You can pick from three different races like you were able to in the first game, and then go ahead and personalize their appearance with hairstyles, colors, and other cosmetic changes in Destiny 2. Players are typically used to being able to change hair within games. However, make sure you’re really happy with your Guardian’s hair and the rest of their appearance before finalizing it and jumping into the game, because you won’t get another chance to edit it.

Just like in the first game, Destiny 2 does not offer the option for players to switch up their Guardian’s hair. The only way you’ll be able to take control of a character with different hair is simply by creating a new character and personalizing their appearance all over again. Alternatively, if you don’t want to create a new character and start from scratch in Destiny 2, but don’t want to have to look at your current character’s hair, you can also turn on the Helmet option so that your character’s head will be hidden by their helmet when you’re in a social space.

In short, take a good look at your character’s appearance and make sure you’re happy with it, as you won’t get another chance to change it later.
