Easiest PS4 Platinum Trophies
My Name is Mayo
My Name is Mayo is a famous game among trophy hunters and it started the trend of games being released that were about little more than getting a quick and easy platinum. All you have to do here is tap a jar of mayonnaise until the trophies pop. The game is cheap and it’ll take you no longer than a hour or so to finish.
The World of Nubla
The World of Nubla sees you solve simple 2D puzzles inside pictures that are housed in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. Thanks to the ease of the puzzles and gameplay, and fact that it is little more than two hours long, it is an easy platinum to unlock. However, you may need a guide to help you find all the collectibles. More than 90 per cent of players already have the platinum, so it must be simple.
The Order: 1886
The Order: 1886 may not be the finest of the PlayStation 4 exclusives to have released over the past few years, but the trophy list is one of the easiest. It is full of golds and silvers and can take around six hours to finish, as long as you keep an eye on your progress towards the collectible based trophies.
Energy Cycle
Energy Cycle is a puzzle game that tasks you with getting a series of lights to be the same color. It isn’t a long game, coming in at just a few hours, but there is a way of bypassing the levels to unlock the platinum quickly. Once you have finished the first puzzle in Puzzle Mode, quickly tap ‘X’ repeatedly until all the trophies pop. Then, clean up the last couple in the other modes and you’ll have a platinum in less than an hour.
Mr. Massagy
Mr. Massagy is a dating sim from the makers of My Name is Mayo. Playing it properly might take an hour or so but rushing through with a guide to get three stars with each date can take less than half an hour. Another easy platinum.
Her Majesty’s Spiffing
Her Majesty’s Spiffing is a quirky adventure game that is filled with humor and jokes about the Brexit vote in the UK. Most of the trophies are tied to the game’s easy puzzles, with a few more being awarded for small things such as saving with a typewriter. You’ll probably get most of them in a couple of hours and, with the help of a guide, unlocking the platinum is very simple.
Life Is Strange
Not only is Life is Strange a great game with an emotional story and interesting characters but the trophy list is quite simple. All you have to do is finish the story and take all the optional photos. For the latter, you’ll come across many of them organically but you can also use a guide to find the rest once you’ve finished.
The Walking Dead Season 1
The first season of The Walking Dead is the game that made Telltale as popular as they are today. As is the case with all the developer’s other games, the trophies are split across five episodes and all you have to do to get the platinum is to finish the game. Season One is roughly eight hours long and is well worth playing.
Black and White Bushido
Black and White Bushido is a recent release but the enjoyable multiplayer game has a very easy trophy list. Many of the silvers and golds can be unlocked in minutes and the platinum should take around an hour. The only tricky ones are those that require more than one player but, as long as you have four controllers, you’ll have no problems.
Rocket League
Most of Rocket League’s trophies require you to drive a certain distance or unlock a certain number of items. All you need to do is play matches and the platinum will unlock in good time. However, due to how much DLC has been released for the game, you’re percentage for the game will be frustratingly low.
The Walking Dead Season 2
The second season’s trophy list works just as the first’s did. The game continues to follow Clementine’s story and all you have to do to get the platinum is reach the end. Finish the five episodes, which should take around eight hours, and you’ll have another platinum from a Telltale game.
inFAMOUS Second Son
The third main game in the Infamous series is not only a great PlayStation 4 exclusive that sees the introduction of some great characters to the series but it also has a fun and attainable platinum. You will have to play it twice, one of those times being on expert difficulty, but that should take no longer than 15-20 hours all together and you will be able to pick up the collectibles along the way.
The Walking Dead Season 3
The third season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead saw a huge change for the series. While Clementine was still an integral character, the central protagonist, Javier, was someone players hadn’t seen before. However, the trophy list’s style stayed the same. Once again, all you need to do is finish the five chapters that make up the story and the platinum will unlock.
Dead Syncronicity
Dead Syncronicity is a dark point a click adventure that follows a character who is attempting to come to terms with the fading of the universe. The game is just four hours long and the trophies require you to do little more than finish the story and look at particular objects in the game. If you can deal with the depressing nature of the game, you have an easy platinum added to your collection.
Telltale’s Batman Season 1
Telltale’s Batman series was one of the developer’s most anticipated titles. Following the caped crusader, players could step into the shoes of Bruce Wayne and his alter ego. Once again, Batman follows the trophy style of the Telltale games that came before. Simply finish the five chapters and you’ll unlock the Platinum.
Monster Jam
Monster Jam may only be appealing to hardcore Monster Truck fans but is also one of the easiest games around. The lengthy trophy list asks you to complete some freestyle and racing events and collect 250 CRUSH letters. Once you’ve done this, and played the game for a couple of hours, you’ll have another platinum added to your collection.
Telltale’s Game of Thrones
With the world of Game of Thrones being so popular, it is no surprise that Telltale decided to take advantage of that. It followed different characters to the TV show but it fleshed out the entire Game of Thrones universe. Once again, to get the platinum, all you have to do is finish all the episodes.
Orc Slayer
Orc Slayer is a very simple action game that sees you and your trusty crossbow attempt to rid the world of the Orcs that have taken over. The game is extremely repetitive and may not be the best game that features an easy platinum but defeating all the orcs and finding the hidden areas will unlock one for you.
Tales From the Borderlands
Tales From the Borderlands is considered by many to be one of Telltale’s best game. The characters are great, the story is well paced, and it is hilarious throughout. As you’d expect, though, the trophy list is simple. Finish all the chapters and you’ll add another Telltale platinum to your collection.
Goosebumps
Goosebumps is a prequel to the Jack Black movie that was released in 2015. You go on an adventure, battling monsters that escape from their books along the way. You will need to play the game a couple of times but it is so short that doing so would take no longer than a few hours. You will have to keep an eye on how many moves you are taking because one trophy requires you to take 175 or fewer.
Goat Simulator
Goat Simulator is one of the weirdest games available on PlayStation 4. There is nothing more to it other than causing chaos as a goat. The trophy list simply asks you to perform particular odd tasks, such as jumping on five different trampolines, to get the platinum. You can easily find a guide for them and Goat Simulator can be great fun.
Rockets Rockets Rockets
Rockets Rockets Rockets is a vibrant game that sees you, in your rocket, fire rockets at other rockets. The game is fast and frenetic, with play possible in single and local multiplayer modes. The trophy list requires you to test your skills in every mode (so you’ll need four Dualshock 4s) but the gameplay is so simple that you’ll unlock the platinum in just a couple of hours.
Adam’s Venture: Origins
Adam’s Venture: Origins looks very much like an Uncharted game but, while the premise is still hunting for ancient ruins, it keeps puzzle solving at the forefront, rather than shooting bad guys. In terms of trophies, as long as you finish the game, spin the three globes you find along the way, and don’t touch the controller for 90 seconds when you start the game, you’ll unlock the platinum in three hours or so.
Teslagrad
Puzzle platforming game, Teslagrad, tells the tale of a young boy who must make his way through Tesla Tower and put a stop to the tyrannical king’s reign. As long as you collect all the scrolls along the way, you unlock the platinum once you finish the game, which should take no longer than seven hours.
Teslagrad
Jazzpunk takes place in an alternate Cold War period when corporate espionage and sentient martinis were high up on everyone’s agendas. Exploring the world in fun and you’ll need to do so to get the platinum. Most of the trophies are tied to off-the-wall activities that you may need a guide to help you with. It isn’t difficult but it can be tough working out what tasks you need to complete.
Back to the Future
One of Telltale’s earlier games told the story of Back to the Future to celebrate the classic film’s 30th anniversary. It was episodic, as you’d expect from Telltale, and many of the trophies require you to simply finish the game, with a couple of others being tied to the additional tasks along the way. A platinum was added to the physical version after the original digital release.
Coffin Dodgers
Coffin Dodgers is a kart-racer that sees you play as cartoon old people. Racing as pensioners, or even death, you attempt to finish first. You need to finish first in each race, buy everything, and complete the game as death and a pensioner, but if you’re relatively skilled you should unlock the platinum in five hours or so.
Dying: Reborn
Dying: Reborn is a puzzle horror game that places you in escape room situations and asks you to escape. It may not be particularly scary and it wasn’t praised by critics, but you can get the platinum in just a couple of hours.
Albedo
Albedo: Eyes From Outer Space is a first person action game that sells itself as being ‘inspired by 60s sci-fi’. To get the platinum, you don’t even have to finish the game, as long as you ensure you do everything asked of you. Even if you miss something, you can return for clean up and the game is no longer than three hours long.
Lara Croft GO
Lara Croft GO follows the style set by Hitman GO and takes the classic character and creates a puzzle game around the iconography of the series. It may be tough to get the platinum without a guide, due to the tough puzzles, but if you don’t mind cheating, you’ll get the platinum in no time.
