Everything is better when it's free.

Earlier this year, March 7 to be exact, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But if you haven’t picked up the title, there is a new chance to try the game for free. Ubisoft is starting up a free, five-hour trial that will allow PlayStation and Xbox gamers to explore the vast, open world of this military shooter. And no, the trial isn’t available on PC.

Announced by Ubisoft, the free trial is available now and does not currently have an end date in sight. The trial will include full access to the game (minus the Narco Road and Fallen Ghosts expansions) and will allow trial members to play with up to 3 friends, whether they own the full version of the game or have just downloaded the trial version as well. And instead of being limited to a certain number of missions or a limited version of the map, gamers will be able to explore the entire world of Ghost Recon Wildlands until they hit the five-hour mark. If the game didn’t capture your interest, or you decide not to upgrade to the full version of the game, which will cost you $59.99 for the standard edition, no worries. Just uninstall and all will be right with the world. But if you do decide to upgrade by the end of the trial, all of your progress made during that five-hour period will transfer over to the fully unlocked game.

The official post made by Ubisoft goes over facts of the trial, including how large the download file is and how to download it from both the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is set in the dangerous open world of a cartel ran Bolivia. It’s up to the player, or a team of gamers, to band together as a US Special Forces team and bring down the Santa Blanca drug cartel that has left the country lawless, violent, and deadly. The full versions of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands are available to play on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
