Prey is finally out bringing its sneaky Mimics and intriguing sci-fi story to the table. As you uncover its secrets and beat down the aliens that stand in your way, you’ll likely need to take a break. After all, exploring the TranStar offices can really take it out of you. Here’s what you need to know to save your progress in Prey.

It’s actually incredibly simple. All you need to do is press the Options button on your Xbox One or PS4 controller and select the Save Game option. You’ll have three different save slots to choose from, so you can also have multiple save files. Select one of the slots, press A/ X on your controller and confirm you want to save your progress. That’s all you need to do.

The game also has a quick save system in case you want to lay down a quick checkpoint before continuing with the action. Prey also uses an autosave function in a similar way, ensuring you’ll never be sent too far back if Morgan meets an untimely demise.

That’s all you need to know to save your progress in Prey. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check out our wiki.
