New but not new

Four new games have been added to the Nintendo Switch eshop today, Mar. 16, including the delayed Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth +.

Initially meant to be a launch title, Binding of Isaac leads the pack of indie games now available on Nintendo’s new console. The game includes the standalone title first released in 2011, as well as everything included in the Afterbirth + DLC, which we first saw at the start of this year. It will arguably be the Switch’s most graphic and challenging title to date, compared with the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Snipperclips: Cut it Out. Fans of the game will be happy to hear that a physical copy will also be hitting retailers.

The other three titles released for the system are all developed by Tomorrow Corporation. Puzzle games World of Goo, Little Inferno and Human Resource Machine all come with a $9.99 price tag. Like Binding of Isaac, these are new to the Switch but not recent titles, being released in 2008, 2012 and 2015 respectively.

They join the current line-up of Switch titles, including Shovel Knight, several classic Neo Geo games, as well as the more recently released Blaster Master Zero.
