Mass Effect Andromeda: How to Play Multiplayer

How to Play Multiplayer in Mass Effect Andromeda

Recommended Videos

Like in Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect Andromeda has a multiplayer mode that lets you team up with other players to take on challenging missions. You’ll face off against hordes of enemies in pursuit of great rewards that you can use in the single-player campaign.

In order to play multiplayer you need two things, a copy of Mass Effect Andromeda and an internet connection (if you’re on PS4 or Xbox One you’ll also need their respective, premium subscription). Now you have two options for how you want to join in on multiplayer, with the first being directly from the main menu.

The second is from the Tempest, your ship in the game. You have a terminal on the bridge that allows you to launch a Strike Team Mission, which is the multiplayer mode. You can create or join a game from this terminal. Or, you can send an APEX Strike Team on missions, which is a group of AI controlled soldiers who will try to complete it for you.

If you decide to play yourself, simply choose your character (they each have their own classes and perks), set your loadout, then enjoy. See how far you can make it with your team, and level up your multiplayer characters while earning sweet rewards.
