Ghost Recon Wildlands: Can You Change Your Appearance?

Changing Your Appearance – Ghost Recon Wildlands

Recommended Videos

For those looking to dive into the chaotic, drug-fueled world of Ghost Recon Wildlands, players will need to first go through the character creator and customize their Ghost’s appearance. This is done fairly simply as this title does not have all the sliders and in-depth alterations that many RPGs like Fallout 4 sport. However, you will want to make sure that you are fully satisfied with your character’s appearance as there is no way, outside of completely wiping your save files, of altering their physical looks.

What you can do in Ghost Recon Wildlands is adjust their clothing and accessories as you will earn a fair amount of them by exploring the world and killing bosses. This can be done at any time by opening up your tactical menu and moving over to the “Loadout” tab. From here, you can see a model of your protagonist on the left and just below that a command for editing their appearance. You can change their haircut and if they have a scar, but the actual body shape and skin color cannot be altered.

Players will also be able to change their shirt, jacket, pants, and other items to their heart’s content. There are also some special outfits that can give your character a completely different appearance such as the Dying Earth outfit. These cannot be altered, so make sure to not try and equip different types of pants with this costume. Remember, you may be an elite soldier, but you have to make sure that the enemy knows how fashionably dressed you are too!
