The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Quitting the Game

Recommended Videos

Look, Breath of the Wild is a really gorgeous game, but even the most hardcore of fans will need to take a break from it eventually. In order to do that, you’ll have to be able to quit the game. Of course, you’ll want to save your progress first, which can be done by pressing the + button and selecting the option from the System menu. However, you’ll notice that there isn’t actually any option that allows you to quit the game.

So far, the best method to quitting the game that we’ve found is to simply press the home button on your controller, and then pressing X to close the software. When you boot up your game again, choose the Continue option, and you’ll get to load your preferred save data. The game actually auto-saves quite frequently, and those auto-saves will take up a few slots so you’ll have many files to choose from. If you performed a manual save before quitting, you can load that up as well, and jump back into the game.
