NieR: Automata – Riding an Animal

Recommended Videos

The world of NieR: Automata is pretty massive, and while your androids are able to run fast, you’ll eventually start to yearn for a faster method of travel. If you don’t want to use the fast travel functions in the game, or if you haven’t unlocked it yet, you could consider riding an animal around the ruined planet instead.

First off, you need some Animal Bait. This can be purchased at any supply vendor, and they’re only 100 G each, so you can afford to buy as many as you want. Once you have some Animal Bait in your inventory, go out into the wild and look for some animals. You’ll often find a moose hanging around near the access points, so these animals are easy targets for you. When near an animal, select the Animal Bait from your inventory and use it. By leaving it on the ground, the animals will be attracted to it. Once they’ve consumed the Bait, you can go to the animal and hit the circle button to mount it. Now, you’ll be able to get around the city much quicker.
