How to Get Renown in For Honor
For Honor has a lot of systems at play during a multiplayer match, especially depending on which type of game you’re playing. You’re likely wondering how to get Renown during a match in For Honor. Well, don’t worry, we have your back on how to earn Renown in For Honor.
As you play matches of Dominion or certain Deathmatch types in For Honor you’ll earn Renown will almost every action you do. You can see the points you earn displayed in text on the left side of your screen.
The amount scales depending on the action, so killing enemy grunts will net you only a couple points, while killing an enemy player with an execution will reward you with much more. You can also earn these elusive points by capturing zones. Basically, get to playing the game!
All the Renown points you earn compile into an overall level during the match, similar to a MOBA. This is how you’re going to unlock your Feats for use during battle. The gauge above your Feats represents your level during that match, and once it fills up you’ll unlock a Feat. This repeats four times until all of them are unlocked.
Because of this, you’re going to want to be taking action, killing enemies, capturing zones, and doing everything you can to earn Renown. Feats can help give you that slight advantage over the enemy, just enough to ensure victory if you use them correctly.
That’s it! That’s how you get renown in For Honor. For more help, tips, and guides on For Honor make sure to take a look at our ever-expanding wiki. If you have another question, though, you can ask it in the comments down below and we’ll do our best to help you out.
