How to Use Zone Attacks – For Honor
For Honor is a game all about melee combat and you’ll usually be going one-on-one against a skilled enemy. However, there will be times that you’ll find yourself surrounded by other warriors or soldiers. While most of your attacks only hit one or two enemies, you do have one that can hit your surrounding area, called a zone attack.
To use a zone attack you’re going to want to hit both of your attack buttons at the same time, so hit R1 and R2 at the exact same time, or RB and RT on Xbox. Be careful when using a Zone Attack, however, as it’s a pretty long strike that leaves you open for a second. The upside is that it’s a good way to clear a group of enemies away from yourself, and get a breather if you find yourself in trouble. They can also be useful for clearing out hordes of the common soldiers your army will be up against. Of course, keep in mind that each character’s zone attack will have a different range.
Figuring out when to use Zone Attacks, in tandem with the rest of the skills you possess, will help you hold your own against the hordes of warriors online.
