Yakuza 0: How to Save

How to Save – Yakuza 0

Recommended Videos

Yakuza 0 is your chance to hop in the shoes of a Yakuza criminal who, frankly, doesn’t care much for people that pick fights with him. Kiryu is tough, he’s trained in martial arts, and he has a knack for arcades. Whatever you choose to do around the districts of Tokyo in the game, you’re going to want to save your game whenever you get the chance as there’s no autosave feature. The game really wanted to make you feel the retro, apparently.

In order to ensure your progress won’t be lost when you turn off your PS4, you will need to head over to the big S icons around your radar. There are plenty scattered around, so you shouldn’t have to run very far before coming across one. These are payphones that Kiryu can interact with (press X) in order to prompt the save function for the game.

Additionally, there is an option to save your game after every chapter is completed. Unfortunately, that’s about it! But Yakuza 0 won’t make you lose all your progress if you happen to not have saved for awhile and die. There are checkpoint safety nets for you to fall back on in case you do fail miserably.
