Winston’s Christmas Skin for the Overwatch Winter Event

It's the abominable snowman.

Overwatch’s Winter Holiday event is finally upon us, and it’s time to reap all the gifts that we can during these couple of weeks. That’s right, it’s that time of year again. Time for you to rush through the matches, winning as many as possible, just to unlock some sweet Winter Event Loot Boxes. You can also buy them, of course, but they’ll cost you quite a bit of coins.

For Winston, the Winter Wonderland update comes with an awesome new Yeti skin. Winston is decked out in white, and his face has also been modified to look like the terrifying snow abomination. His jetpacks have also received a slight facelift, and they’re now shaped as prehistoric dinosaur skulls. If you’ve always wanted to make Winston the raging monkey he really is, this Yeti skin should do the trick.

It’s also worth noting that the Yeti is a legendary skin. If you want to purchase it, it’ll cost you 3,000 gold. You can also purchase multiple Loot Boxes and hope that you get the skin that way. If not, you can always farm Loot Boxes by playing the Overwatch Arcade playlist, and just leveling up as per normal.

Winston is just one of the 12 heroes that got new skins, though. Check them all out in-depth over here. It’s not just skins that came with the event, though, there’s a new brawl, emotes, victory poses, highlight intros, and more! The next few weeks are sure to be packed with some festive fun on Overwatch.
