The company did not make an official announcement, but YouTube personality TmarTn discovered the PlayStation 4 servers were online on Oct.31 in his frantic tweet below. Call of Duty fansite Charle Intel reported that Xbox One owners with early retail copies could get online as well.

Servers for multiplayer games are regularly active days or weeks before a game’s launch to test servers or allow reviewers to play the game. Charlie Intel reports that servers have since been shut down, and a hotfix updated the game so private matches with bots could not be played either. The message of the day in-game reads:

“Modern Warfare Remastered officially launches on November 4. Day 1 prep is in full swing as we are heads down making final adjustments to launch. In other words, game servers will be intermittent and unavailable at times as we make final adjustments before Friday. Thank you for your patience!”

Modern Warfare Remastered is only available in the Legacy, Digital Legacy, Digital Deluxe, and Legacy Pro editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and pre-ordering on PlayStation 4 let players access the game’s campaign for 30 days before the official release. Multiplayer will be unlocked when Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches Nov. 4 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
