How to Save – Battlefield 1

Recommended Videos

Battlefield 1 is finally out and sees players experiencing the events of World War I through a number of different stories, each with their own chapters. While the chapters don’t go on for hours, some players may need to drop out and come back to their assault on the German forces at a later point.

Unfortunately, the game doesn’t make use of a manual save system and instead makes good use of an autosave system instead. Each chapter will have certain objectives that you’ll need to complete. Every time you complete one and are given another, you should see a white circle appear in the top right corner of the screen rotating away. This is your sign that the game is saving your progress in that mission meaning you can jump back to that exact point at a later date.

The game also will occasionally create a checkpoint in between your completion of an objective if it’s particularly long. The best advice we can give you is try to reach the end of an objective before quitting or holding out until you finally see the white circle appear. Once it’s disappeared you’re free to quit the game.

That’s all there is to it. For more tips, tricks and guides, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
