Jason Voorhees is back, and he’s not particularly playing around either. A new trailer for Friday the 13th: The Game showcases some gruesome ways to murder your victims, complete with groovy music blasting in the background and some VHS transitions. Now tell me, does it get any more 80’s than that?
This trailer is about as bloody and gory as one would expect from a video game that carries a Friday the 13th license, with Jason crushing the skulls of frightened teenagers with his bare hands, jamming machetes down their throats and burning their faces to a crisp by tossing them into an otherwise cozy fireplace.
You can check out the violent trailer above, but it should come without saying that these clips are definitely not for the faint of heart. If you feel a bit twisted and you don’t mind that in the slightest, then by all means, go ahead.
Friday the 13th: The Game will see its release on time for Halloween somewhere in October for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
