No matter the month, you can usually count on Telltale Games to provide you trophy hunters with something to increase that count of yours. Their episodic adventures are engaging with masterfully crafted narratives that give you a bit of control over how things play out. They also happen to come with a healthy dose of trophies. Their latest, the first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series, comes with six trophies – three bronze, two silver, one gold.

Want to know the best part? You simply have to complete the episode to earn all six, that’s all there is to it. What’s better than being able to down the cowl of the caped crusader while earning some easy PlayStation trophies?

No Man’s Sky

no man's sky

No Man’s Sky is a very big game. And by big, we mean there are over 18 quintillion planets spread across the game’s impossibly large universe. It would take years to explore it all, but don’t worry, it only takes a couple of days to obtain the platinum trophy. You don’t have to make it to the center of some galaxy, or even follow some mysterious entity who seems to know everything. All you have to do is max out each of your Journey Milestones, which is much easier than it sounds.

Basically, you just have to do a lot of the different things available in No Man’s Sky. Destroy a lot of ships, take a lot of steps, use your warp drive, discover animals, survive, etc. Also, if you play without the patches, you can get a number of these quite easily, particularly the animal discovery and survival achievements.

This will take some time, but nowhere near as long as it will take you to actually complete the game, so have fun exploring the stars and collecting some easy trophies.

Resident Evil 4

resident evil

Resident Evil 4 is a classic, which is reason enough to dive back into this game. It was the first game to see real change in the Resident Evil franchise, and it’s often considered among the best in not only this series, but survival horror in general. It recently saw a re-release on current gen consoles, and that brought along some trophies.

The trophy list for Resident Evil 4 on the PS4 is the same one as on the PS3, meaning it’s not very difficult, but also that there’s no platinum trophy. And, since the game has been around for some time, there are plenty of guides and walkthroughs to help you tackle all of the challenges this Capcom classic throws at you. Happy hunting!

God Eater 2: Rage Burst

god eater 2: rage burst

God Eater 2: Rage Burst is a re-release of God Eater 2 that introduces new missions, new skills, and some new story. If you’ve been looking for some Monster Hunter-like action on your PS4 or Vita, then this is a game that you definitely need to check out. There’s a lot of content here to enjoy that offers up plenty of opportunities to earn yourself some shiny trophies.

There are 47 trophies on offer including one beautiful platinum trophy, and they’re all obtainable on a single playthrough. Do note, however, that this won’t be the quickest grind, as you’ll need anywhere from 80-100 hours to complete everything. But you can find solace in knowing that nothing is actually challenging, it’s all just time-consuming. Just play through the game, completing missions as they pop up and you’ll earn the vast majority of them naturally. After that, you just need to farm for crafting and skill development.

Attack on Titan

anime

Attack on Titan is the first game set in the popular manga and anime’s universe that gets it right. Rushing through the sky using your Omni-directional Mobility gear, chopping up Titans with your blade, and just being an all-around badass for the sake of humanity is just really damn fun. Omega Force certainly outdid themselves with this one, and it should definitely be on your radar.

For you trophy hunters out there, there are 43 trophies to be earned including a shiny platinum trophy. They’re actually pretty easy to unlock, and most will be earned by the time you finish the story. There are a few that do take some time, however, requiring that you beat every single mission on offer. None of them are particularly difficult, and they’ll help you do all of the leveling up of characters that is necessary. The fact that you can play with friends will help the time pass, though, so the grind won’t weigh down on you too hard.

Grow Up

grow up 5

Grow Up is the sequel to 2015’s Grow Home and puts players right back in control of B.U.D. as the little bot traverses a whole new landscape in search of pieces of its crashed ship, M.O.M. It’s a cute, fun little game, that offers up 17 relatively easy trophies. Unfortunately, there is no platinum to nab here, but you’ll still be able to boost your overall trophy count and level just a bit.

A majority of the achievements here revolve around collectibles which can easily be obtained with some handy guides. The most challenging part of Grow Up will definitely be the… well, challenges. These require you to navigate courses in a certain amount of time, so you’ll need a bit of practice with all of B.U.D.’s new abilities.

Hitman Episode 4: Bangkok

hitman episode 4, achievements

Hitman is another episodic game that offers up some easy trophies to hunters, although it will require a bit more work than Telltale’s recent release. There are seven shiny prizes to grab here, with most revolving around the players simply clearing all of the contracts available. There are a few, though, that will force you to be a bit more creative, and one that is simply a collectible trophy (“Elephants Never Forget”).

Still, these are some easy rewards to nab that will ultimately lead to you grabbing that highly coveted platinum trophy when all of the episodes finally release. Enjoy.
