The indie developers at Compulsion Games recently revealed the PC Specs and price for their upcoming title We Happy Few over on their website, ahead of the game’s launch on July 26.
Starting with the price, the game will cost $29.99 on both the PC and the Xbox One at launch, but they did warn that this is the price for the Early Access version of the game. Because of this, the price is likely to increase as the game gets closer to version 1.0 but they did note that ” We want to confirm to everyone that we will not be discounting the game during the Early Access period. That same respect we have for our Kickstarter fans extends to Early Access supporters – you guys are buying our game on a promise, and we won’t forget that.”
Spec-wise here are the minimum spec requirement for We Happy Few:
Processor: Triple-core Intel or AMD, 2.0 GHz or faster
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 460 GTX or AMD Radeon 5870 HD series or higher/ Mobile: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M or higher.
DirectX: DirectX 11, Shader Model 4
Operating System: 64 bit, Windows 7 and above.
Here are the recommended specs:

Memory: 8 GB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 660 GTX or AMD Radeon 7870 HD series or higher
DirectX: DirectX 11, Shader Model 5
Operating System: 64 bit, Windows 7 and above
Compulsion Games recommends that anybody interested in getting We Happy Few should check if their graphic cards are strong enough to run the game at http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/. According to the post, graphics cards that score 2,500 or higher are above the minimum specifications for the game.
Along with announcing the games price and PC specifications, they also announced that they’re taking part in GOG’s Games in Development program. This means that We Happy Few will be launching on GOG.com the same day as the Steam and Xbox One versions do. The game will also be DRM free and gamers who backed the game on Kickstarter will be receiving either a Steam or GOG code in the upcoming weeks, although they won’t be able to play the game it’s till launch.
