In order to get some of the most powerful armor in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, you’ll need to gain access to the Grandmaster Smith in the Blood and Wine expansion. As soon as you have done, you can begin the Treasure Hunt quests to find the diagrams for each part of the different sets. One of these sets is the Grandmaster Wolf gear.

The Wolf Armor is the final upgrade for the Wolven gear set and requires you to be level 40 or over to be able to use it. This set provides more power for your sign’s intensity, greater attack power, an adrenaline point gain, and a damage resistance boost.

The bonuses for the Grandmaster Wolf gear are as follows:

  • Bonus for 3 Pieces: Apply up to three oils to a sword at the same time
  • Bonus for 6 Pieces: Throw bombs with no delay.

Now that we know what the reward is, it’s time to embark on an adventure across Toussaint. Let’s get rollin’!

Grandmaster Wolven Armor, Boots, and Trousers

Blood and Wine, wolven armor, guide, tips, tricks, how to

Just like Blood and Wine’s Grandmaster Ursine Bear armor, the Wolf armor only requires you to hit up two locations in order to get all of the diagrams for the set. The first location we need to head to is the Termes Palace Ruins. These can be found just east of Beauclair. Once you arrive, use the purple ruby to the left of the entrance to get rid of the forcefield around the area. When you’ve done this, a bunch of Barghests will come to take you down, so be prepared.

Unfortunately, this battle isn’t as simple as just taking them down, there are two Wraiths that will continue to spawn the pesky enemies until they’re defeated so you’re doing to want to take them out first. Once you’ve cleared the room, head down the corridor and continue to break down the walls with the huge cracks in them with the help of Aard. Once you’ve escaped from the cave, you’ll find yourself back in the ruins. You’ll want to turn left here and look for the satchel lying on the floor in the first room that you head into. This will contain the diagrams for the first three Grandmaster Wolf diagrams.

To craft these items you will require the following materials.

Grandmaster Wolven Gauntlets, Silver Sword, and Steel Sword

Blood and wine, wolf, grandmaster, guide, gear, how to, set, get

These next three are incredibly simple and are really close by to grab, too. All you had to do is turn around and go back into the room that you just came out of. Head straight on into a smaller room which has suffered damage from falling rocks. In here will be a corpse lying on the ground. Loot the body to pick up the rest of the diagrams.

With the diagrams in hand, head back to the Grandmaster Smith to get yourself kitted out with some seriously strong gear. Your enemies in Blood and Wine have even more of a reason to fear you now.
