Today at the Digital Dragons 2016 conference in Krakow, Dying Light developer Techland announced that they’re working on two new AAA games. The two games’ combined budget was said to be around $77 million.

In an interview with GamePressure, Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka revealed that one of the titles will be an open-world fantasy RPG developed by their studio in Wroclaw, Poland. Marchewka also said that the game will have both single-player and co-op multiplayer.

The second title is being developed by Techland Warszawa. Though no concrete info has been given, there has been speculation that the mysterious second project could be a sequel to 2015’s Dying Light. They have lofty goals for their new AAA ventures, saying their “main target is to give the gamers two huge titles within the next two years that will be even more successful than Dying Light. I assure you that they are worth the wait!”

Marchewka expressed that their current emphasis is on expanding their Warsaw-based studio, and employee-scouting at Digital Dragons is a part of that. Hopefully we’ll see a proper announcement of one or both of these projects during E3 next month.

Do you think Dying Light 2 is on the horizon?
