Less than 12 months after Nintendo had UK stock of Splatoon and its Amiibo stolen, thousands of pounds worth of Nintendo stock has been stolen again.
The stock was taken straight from a parked lorry. The thieves cut into the lorry and took the games. It’s unknown which games were taken, but the news has left some people concerned about their orders for the latest Wii U release, Star Fox Zero.
Northampshire police revealed the crime this afternoon as part of an appeal for information. The stock was taken overnight on Apr. 13th between 9pm and 7am the next day, while the driver was asleep.
Anyone with information can contact Northamptonshire police on 101,” a police spokesperson said. “Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
Less than 12 months ago, a massive amount of Nintendo’s Splatoon and Amiibo stock was stolen en route from Nintendo of Europe’s German distribution centre.
