Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is one of the most awaited titles releasing this spring, after going through a few different delays. The title was announced as the final chapter in the adventure of Nathan Drake. The final code for the game is now complete, which means that Creative Director Neil Druckmann has started receiving feedback on what people think about the game’s ending.

In a recent interview with IGN, Druckmann talked about what he’d been hearing people say about the ending of Uncharted 4,

“I think people will discuss the ending. If focus tests are anything to go by, there will be some arguments about the ending. I’m excited. Indifference would be the worst thing. I would rather have people hate it than be indifferent to it. We’ll see how they react.”

It’s hard to say exactly what Druckmann means by the ending being divisive, but IGN asked him straight out if Nathan Drake would survive at the end of the game. He responded while laughing by saying, “Do you really want me to tell you? You don’t really want me to tell you.”

Druckmann also talked about how the team behind Uncharted 4 and the series stuck to their vision for the games, regardless of criticism they may have received along the way.
