Stardew Valley: How to Get a Void Egg and Chicken

How to Get a Void Egg and Chicken in Stardew Valley

Recommended Videos

Stardew Valley features many secrets. Among the dinosaurs you can get, there are also void chickens that can inhabit your coop. These little chickens are special black ones that will lay you some void eggs every day as opposed to regular eggs.

Unfortunately, the way to get a void egg is randomized a bit by the game. You can either get one after an event where, overnight, a witch flies over your coop and leave you a void egg within. By the way, this only happens after you’ve upgraded your coop to a Big Coop and have the incubator as a result of this. Additionally, the caravan found south of your farm might have a void egg for sale. The odds of this are randomized as well, though.

Once you do manage to get your hands on a void egg, simply pop it on the incubator and await your shiny, new Void Chicken. It will give you a void egg every day provided that it’s in a good mood. Void eggs sell for 50g (the price of a Large Egg), so chaching, right?
