The newest wave of backwards compatibility titles for the Xbox One has been revealed. The list comes via Major Nelson’s blog, and announces that players “have logged more than 21 million hours playing Xbox One Backward Compatibility games.”
The new list features 10 titles which are available to download and play now on Xbox One including The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
Below is the complete list of backwards compatible titles available in January’s lineup:
- Aegis Wing
- Age of Booty
- Counter-Strike: Go
- Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
- Sam & Max Save the World
- Skullgirls
- Small Arms
- Soulcalibur
- Space Giraffe
- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
Major Nelson also announced that backwards compatibility titles will be released as they become available in the future, rather than releasing them in smooth monthly installments. This means that rather than waiting for games to be released in a large wave, they will be released “once each title has received the engineering and publisher stamp of approval.”
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings can also be downloaded for free in select regions on Xbox.com from now until February 5 for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One Owners.
