Late last night, Awesome Games Done Quick 2016 called time, ending another wildly successful year.

The annual speedrunning event raised over 1.2 million dollars for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. This marks 3 years in a row where the event has raised over one million dollars.

The marathon included highlights such as a robot playing Brain Age, a blindfolded Punch Out run, a Super Mario Maker hard level run, an incredible Stepmania run, and ended with a three and a half hour run of Final Fantasy IV. Many of these runs had over 100,000 views, with the Mario Maker run reaching over 200,000. Full stats can be viewed here.

The sister event, Summer Games Done Quick will be held from July 3-9 in Minneapolis. That event broke 1 million in donations for the first time last year, a feat that looks like it can be repeated.
