It seems that Amazon France may have accidentally leaked Doom’s release date. A Twitter user named MasterGamer24680 noticed that the game’s Amazon page all showed the same release date of June 30.
It seems that Amazon has since updated the release date to December 31, a placeholder date, but the screenshot below clearly shows that it was originally June 30.
It’s possible that the June 30 date is also a placeholder release date but Amazon France has a history of leaking game release dates. It previously revealed that the PC edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider would release in late January and that turned out to be true.
Doom is currently being developed by id Software and is being published by Bethesda. It will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
