On November 18th, a couple of tweets made by Geoff Keighley, the face and producer of The Game Awards, confirmed the musical acts for the upcoming 2015 Game Awards on December 3rd. The second annual Game Awards plan to host two popular electronic bands this year with Deadmau5 and Chvrches. Keighley’s tweets are below.

Deadmau5 has been featured in several video games such as Goat Simulator, Minecraft, and DJ Hero 2. Meanwhile, Chvrches are less known to be in video games, but they are more known for playing them: Rock Band 4 at Gamescom, playing Destiny, visiting Bungie Studios, and more. Last year’s Game Awards musical act of Imagine Dragons also are unashamed players as well. The band created a song dedicated to League of Legends.
Spawned from the Spike Video Game Awards, the Game Awards follow the same tradition of televising an award show for the year’s best video games as well as revealing wold premieres of various trailers and games. Said awards have nominees, and those nominees are listed through this link here.
