Minecraft: Story Mode - Jesse (m) voice actor
Minecraft: Story Mode allows you to choose whether your protagonist Jesse is male or female, and Patton Oswalt lends his voice to the male version. He is a solid character actor, often popping up in many films and television shows in one-off or cameo appearances. This isn’t his first time behind the mic, as he voiced leading rat Remy in Pixar’s 2007 animated film Ratatouille. More recently he has had a recurring role on TV’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the various Koenig brothers, as well as providing the voice-over for adult Adam Goldberg in The Goldbergs.

Catherine Taber

Minecraft: Story Mode - Jesse (f) voice actor
Cat Taber has been doing voice acting work since 2003, when she voiced Mission Vao in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Since then she’s been involved with many Star Wars games, mostly playing the parts of Princess Leia and Padmé Amidala. Taber also provided the voice for Penelo in Final Fantasy XII and April O’Neil in 2012’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. In Minecraft: Story Mode, she voices the female version of Jesse.

Dee Bradley Baker

Minecraft: Story Mode - Reuben voice actor
For more than 20 years Dee Bradley Baker has lent his voice to several hundreds of projects, between live action films, animated films, video games, and even theme park attractions. He voiced Olmec in Nickelodeon’s Legends of the Hidden Temple, Daffy Duck and the Tazmanian Devil in Space Jam, Wakka in Kingdom Hearts, Joe in the Viewtiful Joe series, Atlas and P-Body in Portal 2, “All the super scary demons” in Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, and so much more. He’s well-versed to play Jesse’s pig Reuben in Mincraft: Story Mode, as he has portrayed multiple pigs in the past, such as Pig George in the film My Brother the Pig, and more recently Waddles in the Disney cartoon Gravity Falls.

Brian Posehn

Minecraft: Story Mode - Axel voice actor
Brien Posehn started off doing walk-on roles for shows like Friends and News Radio, and has since worked his was into a handful of films and video games alike. He was a series regular on The Sarah Silverman Program, and had a recurring role on Just Shoot Me. Axel in Minecraft: Story Mode marks his largest role in a video game to date, as his previous credits are mostly filler work such as voicing some of the grunts in Halo 2.

Ashley Johnson

Minecraft: Story Mode - Petra voice actor
Ashley Johnson has come a long way from her days as young Chrissy Seaver on Growing Pains. In the late ’90s she voiced geek girl Gretchen Grundler for the cartoon Recess, and in recent years has regular work as Gwen Tennyson in the various Ben 10 cartoon series. Most gamers will no doubt recognize her most for her portrayal of Ellie in Naughty Dog’s hit The Last of Us. Minecraft: Story Mode marks is Johnson’s second outing with Telltale, as she recently voiced Gortys in Tales from the Borderlands.

Martha Plimpton

Minecraft: Story Mode - Olivia voice actor
Most of the cast listed here have a resumé stuffed with voice acting and video game credits, but not Martha Plimpton. Though Minecraft: Story Mode is her first ever video game credit, she’s more than proven her ability on the silver and small screens. She was Stef Steinbrenner in The Goonies and Virginia Chance on TV’s Raising Hope, and also guest starred on other shows like ER, 7th Heaven, and Law & Order.

Scott Porter

Minecraft: Story Mode - Lukas voice actor
A relative newcomer to acting, Scott Porter first came onto the scene in 2006 with a brief stint on As the World Turns. He has since given his voice to Scott Summers/Cyclops in Marvel Anime: X-Men, and also worked with Telltale Games previously when he portrayed Luke in The Walking Dead: Season 2. Incidentally, his character in Minecraft: Story Mode is named Lukas. Most recently, Porter voiced Nightwing in this year’s Batman: Arkham Knight.

Dave Fennoy

Minecraft: Story Mode - Gabriel voice actor
Dave Fennoy has become good friends with Telltale Games. He was the voice of Lee Everett in The Walking Dead: Season 1, Bluebeard in The Wolf Among Us, and Finch in Tales from the Borderlands, now returning to work with them as Gabriel the Warrior in Minecraft: Story Mode. He also plays Rodin in both Bayonetta games, Lucius Fox in Batman: Arkham Knight, and several characters throughout various World of Warcraft expansions.

Grey Griffin

Minecraft: Story Mode - Ellegaard voice actor
Grey Griffin has been doing voice work since the early ’90s when she provided additional voices in Animaniacs. Some of her most notable work includes Mandy in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and Daphne Blake in basically everything Scooby-Doo related since the early 2000s, though that barely scratches the surface of her past credentials. In the world of video games, she’s known for voicing Catwoman in the Arkham trilogy, Jeanne in both Bayonetta titles, and oh, so much more.

Corey Feldman

Minecraft: Story Mode - Magnus voice actor
Arguably one of the most well-known names on this list, Corey Feldman made a name for himself early on in life with central roles in many iconic films from the ’80s: The Gremlins, The Goonies, Stand by Me, and The Lost Boys, just to name a few. Minecraft: Story Mode is only his second time working on a video game, the first being an obscure DOS adventure title from 1996 called Normality.

John Hodgman

Minecraft: Story Mode - Soren voice actor
Though primarily an author and humorist, John Hodgman may be most recognizable as the personification of the PC in the PC vs. Mac commercials from the 2000s, opposite Justin Long. Hodgman was also an occasional correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and in 2009 lent his voice to Coraline’s father in the stop-motion film Coraline. He’s popped up in just a handful of other films like The Invention of Lying and Pitch Perfect 2, with Minecraft: Story Mode seemingly his first video game work.

Paul Reubens

Minecraft: Story Mode - Ivor voice actor
Without a doubt, Paul Reubens is most well-known for being Pee-Wee Herman throughout the ’80s, but he’s done much more than just that. Aside from a slew of guest appearances on shows like Ally McBeal and 30 Rock, Reubens also has many films under him belt including Mystery Men, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Matilda.

Phil LaMarr

Minecraft: Story Mode - Gill voice actor
Phil LaMarr is one of those actors who it might take less time to list the things he hasn’t been in or worked on. He’s the voice of Hermes in Futurama, Samurai Jack, Sam B. in Dead Island, John White in inFAMOUS, Ramza Beoulve in Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, and much, much more. He’s even in the movie Pulp Fiction. He plays Marvin – the guy whose head John Travolta accidentally blows off.

Matthew Mercer

Minecraft: Story Mode - Aiden voice actor
The bulk of Matthew Mercer’s work is in video games and anime. Notable anime roles include Captain Levi in Attack on Titan and Prince Demande in Sailor Moon. As for video games, take your pick. He’s Chrom in Fire Emblem: Awakening, Kanji Tatsumi in Persona 4, Alvin in Tales of Xillia, Trey in Final Fantasy Type-0, and a whole bunch more.

Erin Yvette

Minecraft: Story Mode - Announcer voice actor
Erin Yvette is another Telltale veteran. She portrayed Molly in The Walking Dead: Season 1, Bonnie in Season 2, Snow White in The Wolf Among Us, and Sasha in Tales from the Borderlands. Her role in Minecraft: Story Mode is smaller as the Announcer, but she’s still there. Yvette will also be voicing the character Chelsea in the upcoming PlayStation 4 game Firewatch.

Billy West

Minecraft: Story Mode - Narrator
Billy West’s voice is one you have most definitely heard in one place or another, whether you realize it or not. Be it Doug Funnie and Roger Klotz in the cartoon Doug, Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd in Space Jam, approximately half the cast of Futurama (Philip J. Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Zapp Brannigan, Dr. Zoidberg, and more), or Stimpy of Ren & Stimpy, West has been all over the voice acting scene. Perhaps his longest-running role is one that most people never realized: that of the Red M&M in all those commercials. He has no counterpart image in Minecraft: Story Mode, as his voice provides narration throughout the game.
