The Metal Gear Solid V Launch Trailer is Here, Get Ready to Cry

As if I wasn’t hyped enough for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain already, the game’s launch trailer, cut and edited by Kojima himself, does a wonderful job of tugging at every fan’s heartstrings. As Kojima’s final Metal Gear Solid game, the trailer shows the transformation of Snake from the first game to the fourth, before showing off more footage from The Phantom Pain.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain also promises to give us the ultimate Metal Gear, which you can check out for yourself in the trailer down below.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set to be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on Sept. 1st.
